Asus 8z launched in India: check price, specs

The Asus 8z compact flagship smartphone has been launched in India. The smartphone was earlier launched in the US and Europe under the moniker of Asus Zenfone 8.

The Asus 8z price in India has been set at ₹42,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone will be available to purchase from Flipkart starting March 7.

The Asus 8z is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, along 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.

The smartphone offers a 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 1100 nits of peak brightness. The display also gets Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio.

For optics, the Asus 8z offers a dual rear camera setup, with a 64MP main camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. On the front is a 12MP selfie camera.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,000mAh battery, with 30W fast charging support. The Asus 8z also gets IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
