It looks like OnePlus will finally join the foldable smartphone market in 2023.

According to a trademark application filed by OnePlus, the company is planning to launch two foldable smartphones called the OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip.&nbsp;
The trademark filing, which has been spotted by tipster <a href="https://twitter.com/stufflistings/status/1619690264196681729/photo/1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Mukul Sharma</a>, suggests that internal testing of at least one of these devices has begun in several regions, including Europe.&nbsp;
OnePlus has not released a foldable phone yet, however, its foldables devices may be inspired by sister-company Oppo&rsquo;s Find N2 series.&nbsp;
OnePlus will hold a launch event in India on February 7, 2023. The Chinese brand will launch the OnePlus 11, 11R, Buds 2 Pro and its unnamed first tablet at this event.

The Amsterdam-based firm unveiled net losses of 105 million euros ($114 million) for the fourth quarter of 2022 and 1.605 billion euros for last year as a whole, largely due to the recall.
Philips announced a global recall in 2021 of its appliances to treat people suffering from sleep apnoea and now faces a number of lawsuits in the United States.
This followed concerns patients risked "possible toxic and carcinogenic effects" if they inhaled or swallowed pieces of degraded sound-dampening foam on the machines.
Starting off as a lighting company more than 130 years ago, Philips has undergone major changes in recent years, selling off assets to focus on making high-end electronic healthcare products.

Set to launch alongside the OnePlus 11 on February 7, the 11R has a design that&rsquo;s strikingly similar to the OnePlus 11&rsquo;s.&nbsp;
However, the Hasselblad branding is missing from the camera island. Also, the 11R appears to have a flat display.
The leak also suggests that the OnePlus 11R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.&nbsp;
Talking of the standard OnePlus 11, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which comes with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a VC liquid cooling system. OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13 powered it on the software front.
On the back of the OnePlus 11, there are three cameras that are tuned by Hasselblad.
The configuration includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, a 48MP Sony IMX581 secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens and the ability to focus for macro vision, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW tertiary sensor with a 2x telephoto lens.&nbsp;

HTC has introduced the Vive XR Elite, an all-in-one VR headset designed to compete with the Meta Quest 2.
Because of its small size, the Vive XR Elite stands out among gaming VR headsets. This VR headset can also be folded up like a pair of sunglasses and placed in a small bag for travel.
It has 2K screens for each eye, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a 110-degree field of view.
The headset is powered by a Snapdragon XR 2 CPU with 12GB RAM and 120GB ROM for local storage of games and content.
The HTC Vive XR Elite can track hand and finger movements owing to a laser depth-sensing camera on the front of the headset. The headset also has a front-facing RGB camera to facilitate mixed-reality experiences.
The HTC Vive XR Elite is scheduled to go on sale in February for $1,099.

Apple supplier Jabil's Indian unit has started making components for AirPods and is shipping the plastic enclosures to China and Vietnam, according to a <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-01-30/apple-supplier-in-india-begins-making-airpods-parts-for-export">Bloomberg</a> report.
This move supports Apple's plan to diversify its manufacturing outside of China. Apple wants to increase its iPhone production in India to 25 percent from 5-7 percent currently, says Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
Apple has been expanding in India since starting iPhone assembly there in 2017 and recently asked suppliers to move some AirPods and Beats headphone production to the country.
Foxconn is preparing to make Beats headphones in India and hopes to eventually produce AirPods as well, while Chinese supplier Luxshare Precision Industry and its units also plan to help make AirPods in India.
