Asus has made a number of announcements at the ongoing Computex 2023. The TUF Gaming A14 and A16 series laptops have been refreshed with Ryzen AI processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 GPUs. The ROG Zephyrus G16 too has been launched.

ASUS made several groundbreaking announcements at Computex 2024, showcasing a range of innovative laptops and gaming equipment. Here’s a comprehensive look at the latest developments from ASUS, featuring technologies from AMD Ryzen AI, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40, and more across their laptops and gaming portfolios.

ASUS TUF Gaming A14 and A16 Laptops

At Computex 2024, ASUS introduced the TUF Gaming A14 and A16 models, both equipped with cutting-edge AMD Ryzen AI processors and powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 GPUs. The A14 is configured with an RTX 4060 GPU, whereas the A16 is enhanced with a RTX 4070, catering to different levels of gaming performance needs.

Both models are designed with significant upgrades in cooling solutions and memory, sporting LPDDR5X-7500 modules to handle intensive applications and gaming scenarios.

The TUF Gaming A16 features a new chassis design with a 17.9 mm thickness and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It includes a larger touchpad and full-sized arrow keys for enhanced usability. The A16 boasts two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a USB 4 port with DisplayPort 2.1, a USB 3.2 Type-C port with 100 W Power Delivery support, an RJ45 ethernet jack, an HDMI 2.1 out, and a 3.5 mm combo jack.

Inside, it is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI processors based on the Zen 5 architecture, paired with up to an RTX 4070 laptop GPU and a 90 Wh battery. The display is a 16-inch 2.5K panel with 400 nits of brightness, 3 ms response times, and a 165 Hz refresh rate.

The TUF Gaming A14, on the other hand, is slightly smaller and lighter, featuring a 16.9 mm thick chassis with a 14-inch display. It also includes advanced cooling solutions with second-generation Arc flow fans and a full-width heat sink. The A14 comes with an FHD webcam supporting Windows Hello, a glass touchpad, and a keyboard with 1.7 mm travel.

The display matches the A16's specifications with a 2.5K resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits brightness, featuring NVIDIA G-SYNC and Advanced Optimus. Connectivity includes a microSD card reader, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a Type-C USB 4, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, an HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack.

ROG Zephyrus G16 Gaming Laptop

The unveiling of the ROG Zephyrus G16 was a highlight of ASUS's announcements. This laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen processors, including the next-gen Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, which offers 50 TOPS of neural processing power. The G16 is available with NVIDIA RTX 4050, 4060, and 4070 graphics cards, emphasizing ASUS's commitment to delivering high-end gaming experiences.

The laptop also features Strix Point technology, enhancing gaming performance and reliability. The Zephyrus G16 boasts a 16-inch 2.5K OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.

It includes 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and supports the new SD Express 7.0 standard for ultrafast SD card performance. ROG Intelligent Cooling with liquid metal on the CPU and a tri-fan design ensures optimal thermal management.

ProArt Series Laptops

Expanding its ProArt series, ASUS introduced several models tailored for creatives and professionals. The ProArt P16 and PX13 are equipped with AMD Ryzen AI processors and NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPUs, emphasizing high-performance capabilities in creative workflows. The ProArt P16 features a 16-inch 4K OLED display, up to 64 GB of RAM, and 4 TB of solid-state storage.

The ProArt PX13, a 2-in-1 hybrid, offers a 2.8K OLED touch display, HDR support, and a lightweight design at just three pounds. The ProArt PZ13, a new addition, offers versatility as a convertible tablet powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Plus processor, integrating advanced AI features suited for mobile professionals. It includes a 13 MP rear-facing camera, a 5 MP front camera with IR support, and an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.

Zenbook and Vivobook Updates

ASUS's Zenbook S 16, now a Copilot+ PC, introduces an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, tripling the neural processing power of previous models. This laptop integrates seamlessly with Windows 11 AI features, enhancing user interactivity and productivity. The Zenbook S 16 features a 16-inch 3K OLED touch panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and it is just 1.1 cm thick, weighing 1.5 kg.

The Vivobook series, including the S15 and S16 models, also received updates with Ryzen AI 300 series processors, catering to users seeking balance between performance and portability. These models feature all-metal chassis, advanced cooling systems, and up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

ExpertBook P5 and Commercial Innovations

The ExpertBook P5 was showcased as a premier model for business use, equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors. This laptop is designed to boost productivity with advanced AI capabilities, making it ideal for professional settings that demand reliability and performance.

It features a 14-inch 16:10 2.5K display, conversational AI, semantic search, and AI Voiceprint for noise cancelation and content creation. The aluminum body ensures durability, while enhanced cooling performance meets modern workplace demands.

Gaming Peripherals

In addition to laptops, ASUS introduced new gaming peripherals designed to complement their high-performance machines. These include a carbon fiber shell mouse, an aluminum keyboard, and advanced headphones, all set to enhance the gaming experience for enthusiasts.

The peripherals are designed to provide a seamless and immersive gaming setup, emphasizing ASUS's commitment to delivering top-tier gaming equipment.
