The post of the vice president fell vacant after the resignation of incumbent Jagdeep Dhankhar on July 22.

The Election Commission has released Bihar's draft electoral rolls after a month-long revision ahead of the state polls. Voters can now file claims and objections.

The Election Commission (EC) on Friday published the draft electoral rolls for Bihar, following the completion of the month-long Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise ahead of the upcoming assembly polls.
No compiled list was made available, but voters can check their names on the EC's website.
There were 7.93 crore registered voters in the state before the SIR began in June, according to the EC.
It is yet to be known how many voters are in the just-published draft rolls.
Printouts of the rolls will be made available to representatives of various political parties later in the day, officials said.
The publication of the draft rolls kicked off the process of "claims and objections", which would continue till September 1. During this period, voters with complaints of wrongful deletion of names can approach the authorities concerned, seeking a remedy.
Assembly elections would be due in the state later this year.
In the first stage of SIR, voters were provided with "enumeration forms", either by booth-level officers (BLO) or booth-level agents (BLA) nominated by political parties, which they were to return after putting their signatures and appending documents acceptable as proof of identity.
People also had the option of downloading and submitting these enumeration forms online.
The process was over by July 25 and, according to the EC, "7.23 crore voters" submitted their enumeration forms, while 35 lakh were found to have "permanently migrated or gone untraceable".
Another 22 lakh have been reported to be deceased, while 7 lakh people were registered as voters in more than one electoral roll.
The EC also claimed that enumeration forms were not submitted by 1.2 lakh voters.
The mammoth exercise was carried out by BLOs deputed across 77,895 polling centres, assisted by 1.60 lakh BLAs and other volunteers, under the supervision of 243 EROs (Electors Registration Officers) and 2,976 Assistant EROs.
The opposition parties criticised the exercise, alleging that it was undertaken to "help" the ruling NDA in the upcoming polls. Petitions were also filed against it in the Supreme Court, which said earlier this week that the SIR should result in "en masse inclusion and not en masse exclusion". PTI

In a major move to enhance sports and healthcare education in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met Union Minister for Labour &amp; Employment, Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, in New Delhi on Thursday.&nbsp;
The meeting resulted in several key proposals receiving in-principle support from the Centre.
It was agreed during the discussion that the popular Bastar Olympics will now be rebranded as the &ldquo;Khelo India Tribal Games&rdquo; beginning this year. The initiative is aimed at providing national-level recognition to tribal athletes and showcasing Chhattisgarh&rsquo;s indigenous sports culture to a wider audience, including on the global stage.
Chief Minister Sai also proposed the establishment of 220-bed medical and nursing colleges in Raipur and Bilaspur to improve the quality of healthcare education and increase access to medical services in the state. Union Minister Mandaviya assured that the Centre would take a favourable decision soon and initiate steps toward granting approval.
Additionally, CM Sai urged the establishment of a regional centre of the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) in Chhattisgarh. He also called for the development of new stadiums and training centres to strengthen the state&rsquo;s sports infrastructure. In response, the Union Minister assured that approvals for these proposals would be fast-tracked.
The meeting was also attended by Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Subodh Singh, and Secretary to the Chief Minister, Rahul Bhagat.

In a significant push to accelerate infrastructure development in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Thursday.&nbsp;
During the meeting, several key road projects in the state received approval, paving the way for enhanced connectivity and economic growth.
According to officials, the Union Minister directed authorities to expedite financial clearances for projects worth over ₹7,000 crore currently in the pipeline. The Centre also sanctioned ₹600 crore under the Central Road Fund (CRF), which will be utilised for the construction and upgradation of roads across the state.
To address growing traffic congestion in the capital city Raipur, four major bridges are set to be constructed, with foundation-laying ceremonies to take place soon. Additionally, the roads linking Raipur with other districts will be expanded from two to four lanes to facilitate faster and safer transportation.
It was also decided that the state&rsquo;s road planning will now be integrated with the Centre&rsquo;s Gati Shakti portal to enable swifter project clearances. Union Minister Gadkari directed that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) be promptly prepared for a proposed 95-kilometre six-lane road connecting Raipur&ndash;Arang&ndash;Bilaspur&ndash;Darri. The road is expected to serve key industrial, agricultural, and educational hubs in the region. The Samriddhi Expressway will also be extended up to Raipur.
Several additional projects were cleared during the meeting. These include the upgradation of National Highway No. 130A, elevation work on National Highway No. 43, and strengthening of National Highway No. 30&mdash;collectively valued at ₹115.95 crore. Among the approved segments, a 15-km road within Bilaspur city is expected to ease urban traffic flow, while an 11-km section of the Katni-Gumla route will enhance rural connectivity. In Keshkal, a 4-km stretch will be strengthened, improving access for residents in hilly areas.
&ldquo;Roads are not just a means of travel; they are pathways to development, employment, and social transformation,&rdquo; Chief Minister Sai said. He added that under the state government&rsquo;s 'Anjor Vision 2047', efforts are being made to ensure every village and citizen benefits from improved and environmentally friendly transportation.
The meeting was also attended by Subodh Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Dr Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary of the Public Works Department.

He highlighted the government&rsquo;s initiatives across the entire textile value chain &mdash; from cotton to yarn, fabric, and readymade garments &mdash; to drive growth and attract investments.&nbsp;
Addressing the BSL Global Outreach Summit 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Dr. Yadav said various efforts are being made to engage textile units from across the country and abroad through platforms like buyer-seller meets.

Dr. Yadav also noted that the state is implementing crucial reforms to enhance the ease of doing business. He shared that 42 outdated laws have been abolished and mandatory business approvals have been reduced from 29 to 10.
Along with affordable electricity, water, and land, the state is offering wage support for workers. &ldquo;Inspired by Make in India, Madhya Pradesh is forging ahead,&rdquo; he said, stressing the shift from adversity to opportunity. He added that in just 18 months, the state has built a solid industrial ecosystem and taken innovative steps across mining, tourism, and agriculture.
Textile Industry&rsquo;s Investment Scope and Traditional Strengths
The Chief Minister highlighted the immense potential for investment in Madhya Pradesh&rsquo;s textile and garment sectors. He pointed out that the state is home to a vibrant community of artisans and globally renowned handloom traditions, particularly Chanderi and Maheshwari sarees.
Dr. Yadav assured that the government is committed to building an Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and is extending both financial and non-financial incentives to investors. Financial aid is directly transferred via DBT, and full benefits under all applicable state policies are being ensured.
Recognising Industry Leaders and BSL&rsquo;s Achievements
At the summit, Dr. Yadav presented the Best Global Sourcing Award to Shri Nitin Prasad, Vice President of Walmart Sourcing, and the BSL Platinum Award &ndash; Queen of Excellence to Smt. Deepika Rana, CEO of the Lee &amp; Fung Group.
He also unveiled a publication detailing BSL&rsquo;s achievements over the past two years. Expressing pride in Prime Minister Modi&rsquo;s leadership, Dr. Yadav said, &ldquo;The heart of India beats in Madhya Pradesh, and it is emerging as a new hub for the textile industry.&rdquo; He noted that PM Modi has successfully completed over 4,000 days in office and voiced confidence in the state's contribution to the Make in India mission.
Infrastructure Support and Industrial Readiness
Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, elaborated on the infrastructure support available in the state.
Madhya Pradesh features four industrial corridors, more than 5 lakh km of road network, ample water supply, over 1 lakh acres of industrial land, and 31 GW of power availability. He announced that the country&rsquo;s largest PM Mitra Textile Park is being established in the state across 2,000 acres.
Singh added that Madhya Pradesh leads in organic cotton production and ranks fifth in overall cotton output. The state&rsquo;s policies offer capital subsidies, interest subvention, stamp duty exemptions, and other incentives for textile and footwear industries, while maintaining its rich handloom legacy with clusters like Chanderi, Maheshwari, Bagh, and Batik prints.
Engaging Global Industry Leaders
CM Dr. Yadav held one-on-one discussions with key industry leaders, including Shri Nitin Prasad (Walmart), Smt. Deepika Rana (Lee &amp; Fung), Ms. Lavanya Pachisia (Zivame), Shri Rakesh Sarawgi (Lakshmipati Group), Shri Bhupinder Singh (Wildcraft), Shri Ritesh Kumar (Eastman Exports), and Shri Hasnain (Milan Group), to explore potential collaborations and address industry needs.

During a roundtable with the Chief Minister, several textile industry leaders shared their views, raised suggestions, and appreciated the direct outreach initiative.

Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm on Friday following vociferous protests by Opposition parties over the revision of electoral rolls in Bihar.
As soon as the day's proceedings started, Opposition members wanted to raise various issues and some of them also trooped into the Well of the House.
Amid sloganeering and display of placards by the protesting members, Speaker Om Birla said the decorum of the House should be maintained and also urged them to go back to their seats.
Birla repeatedly asserted that the behaviour of the members was not appropriate and also took the name of senior DMK leader T R Baalu, asking whether it is right to protest.
Efforts should be made to strengthen democracy and people have given the opportunity to raise their issues, Birla said as he again urged the protesting members to allow the House to run.
The Question Hour was disrupted due to the protests. With the din continuing, the proceedings were adjourned within three minutes till 2 pm.

The Congress on Friday claimed that the Indian economy has been well and truly devastated by a series of "five Modi-inflicted shocks", and said the government as well as its cheerleaders are being economical with the truth of the real state of the economy.
Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh said the Modi government, its drumbeaters and cheerleaders are living in a make-believe world.
The opposition party's assertions came a day after former Congress president and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said everybody except Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman know that the country's economy is "dead".
In a post on X, Ramesh said, "Over the past decade, the Indian economy has been well and truly devastated by a series of five Modi-inflicted shocks. Nobody else can be held responsible." He said demonetisation completely disrupted our growth momentum and destroyed the livelihoods of crores of Indians.
"A fundamentally flawed GST--that is a Tax that is neither Good nor Simple--has wreaked havoc on thousands of business enterprises across the country, except the large companies who can afford to pay the cost associated with GST compliance," Ramesh said.
He further claimed that the record imports from China have led to the closure of lakhs of MSMEs across the country--in Gujarat alone, around a third of the MSMEs in the stainless steel industry have shut down their operations.
Exports in key areas are dependent on imports of raw materials, components, and intermediates from China, he said.
Ramesh pointed out that private investment has lost the buoyancy it demonstrated during 2004-14.
"Indian industrialists are acquiring citizenship of other countries in an ever increasing measure. The politically motivated and extortionist Raid Raj, coupled with the proliferation of Modani's tentacles, has led to a loss of confidence in the Indian economy," Ramesh alleged.
He argued that wages for the majority of Indians have stagnated in the last decade, across sectors and across classes.
"This is particularly so in rural India. Household savings have fallen sharply just as household debt has ballooned. Private mass consumption, one of the key drivers of growth, is sputtering just as luxury consumption has not ebbed, clearly pointing to sharpening economic inequalities," the Congress leader said.
"The Modi government, its drumbeaters and cheerleaders are living in a make-believe world. They are being economical with the truth of the real state of the economy," Ramesh said.
On Thursday, Gandhi had alleged that the BJP-led government has destroyed the country's economic, defence and foreign policies, and is "running the country to the ground".
Speaking with reporters in the Parliament House complex, Gandhi had also claimed that a trade deal with the US will happen and US President Donald Trump will define it.
Asked about Trump calling the Indian economy "dead", the Congress leader had said, "He is right, everybody knows this except the prime minister and the finance minister. Everybody knows that the Indian economy is a dead economy. I am glad that President Trump has stated a fact." He had alleged that the BJP has destroyed the Indian economy.

His remarks came on a day the Election Commission published the draft electoral rolls for Bihar, following the completion of the month-long Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise ahead of the upcoming assembly polls.
The opposition has been protesting in both Houses of Parliament against the SIR, alleging the EC's exercise was aimed at "disenfranchising voters" in Bihar ahead of the Assembly elections. They have been demanding a discussion on the issue in both Houses.
Asked about the issue, Gandhi said, "I have said 'vote chori' is happening and now we have open and shut proof that the Election Commission is involved in 'vote chori'," Gandhi told reporters in the Parliament House complex here.
"I am not saying this lightly. I am saying this with 100 per cent proof. As soon as we release it the whole country would know that EC is indulging in 'vote chori'. It is doing it for the BJP," he said.
Gandhi said his party had suspicions of poll irregularities in Madhya Pradesh assembly polls in 2023, then in the Lok Sabha polls last year and this went further in Maharashtra.
"We believe that vote theft has happened at the state level (in Maharashtra). Voter revision had happened and crore voters were added. Then we went into detail seeing that the EC is not helping and decided to dig deep into this," he said.
"We got our own investigation done, it took six months and what we have found is an atom bomb. When it explodes, the EC would have no place to hide anywhere in the country," Gandhi said.
The Congress leader also warned that those people in the EC who are involved in this, right from the top to the bottom, should remember that they will not be spared because they are "working against India".
"This is treason, nothing less than that. You may have retired, you may be anywhere, we will find you," Gandhi said.
The Congress leader's remarks came after he, along with leaders of several Opposition parties, wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, urging him to schedule a special discussion on the ongoing voter list revision in Bihar without any further delay.
In their letter to Birla, the Opposition MPs expressed deep concern over the SIR exercise.

The Congress on Thursday said it will expose the "outrageous rigging of voter rolls" by the Karnataka Election Commission on August 5 and asserted that it will not allow such electoral "malpractices" to go unchecked.
Congress general secretary in-charge organisation K C Venugopal said the party has planned a massive protest in Bengaluru led by former party chief Rahul Gandhi against this fraud.
After reviewing the preparations for the protest, Venugopal had said, "On 5th August, we will expose the outrageous rigging of voter rolls done by the Karnataka Election Commission."

Former MP and suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna was on Friday convicted by a Special Court in Bengaluru in one of the four sexual abuse and rape cases registered against him.
Special Court Judge Santosh Gajanan Bhat will announce the quantum of punishment on Saturday.
The case pertains to a 48-year-old woman who was working as a help at the family's Gannikada farmhouse in Hassan district's Holenarasipura. She was allegedly raped twice in 2021 and the act recorded by the accused on his mobile phone.
Four separate cases have been registered against Prajwal Revanna, who is facing charges of rape and sexual harassment, and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to probe the cases against him.
Prajwal Revanna is the grandson of former Prime Minister and JD (S) patriarch H D Deve Gowda.
The cases came to light after pen-drives containing explicit videos allegedly involving Prajwal Revanna were reportedly circulated in Hassan, ahead of Lok Sabha polls there on April 26, 2024 He was arrested by the SIT on May 31 last year, upon arrival at Bengaluru Airport from Germany in connection with a case registered at the Holenarasipura Town Police Station.
Revanna had failed in his bid to retain the Hassan parliamentary constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. JD(S) suspended him from the party following the cases filed against him.&nbsp;

In a major big blow to illegal Pharma Opioid Supply Network amidst the ongoing war against drugs launched on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Amritsar Police Commissionerate has unearthed a Tramadol supply chain originating from a small recovery of 35 tablets in Amritsar, leading up to a manufacturing unit in Haridwar in Uttrakhand.
The breakthrough came following the meticulous investigations into an initial recovery of 35 Tramadol tablets and the arrest of a local peddler, Ravinder Singh alias Nikka, in an FIR registered at Police Station A-Division, Amritsar. Probing backward and forward linkages, the police escalated the recovery to a staggering 74,465 Tramadol tablets, 50 Alprazolam tablets, and 325 kg of Tramadol raw material within just 15 days.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said that based on sequential disclosures and raids, six arrests were made including chemists, distributors, and the plant head of Lucent Biotech Ltd.
Those arrested have been identified as Hari Kishore, Plant Manager of Lucent Biotech Limited, Roorkee, and Bikram, owner-cum-partner of Recall Lifesciences, Roorkee. Other arrested individuals include Manish Kumar Arora, Pooran Jatav, and Kulwinder Singh alias Kinda, a medical store owner from Kathunangal.
The DGP said that the grave concern of seized &lsquo;TRAKEMi-100&rsquo; Tramadol strips bearing &ldquo;Government Supply Only &ndash; Not for Sale,&rdquo; indicating illegal diversion of medical stock.
Key pharma units found violating norms have been sealed and records are being scrutinised, he said, while adding that further investigation is in progress.
Sharing more details, Commissioner of Police (CP) Amritsar Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that a joint team of Amritsar Police and drug inspectors raided pharma units in Roorkee, Haridwar, seizing 4,130 unlabelled Tramadol tablets and 325 kg of unregistered raw material. This is in addition to the earlier recovery of 70,335 tablets and Rs 7.69 lakh drug money, he said.
The CP said that during the interrogation of accused Hari Kishore admitted to printing &lsquo;Government Supply Only Not For Sale&rsquo;, on the strips of &lsquo;TRAKEMi-100&rsquo;, Tramadol tablet strips at the manufacturing unit, also he has now destroyed that stamp. The accused has also admitted that the Tramadol Tablets supply manufactured for another legal firm was sold illegally to the Recall Lifesciences of Roorkee, he said.
He said that more persons involved in this pharma opiod supply network have been identified and raids are being conducted to nab them.
&nbsp;A case FIR no. 108 dated 16-7-2025 has been registered under sections 22, 27(A), 29 and 31 of the NDPS Act and section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Police Station A-Division in Amritsar.

Addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone of projects worth around Rs 85 crore to give facelift to Shaheed Udham Singh wala town, the National convener of AAP said that Shaheed Udham Singh made a supreme sacrifice for the sake of the freedom of the country. Arvind kejriwal said that it is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction for him to be part of this function to pay tribute to the iconic martyr. He said that India&rsquo;s freedom struggle saw countless sacrifices for the sake of the country to carve out an egalitarian society to ensure welfare of the weaker and underprivileged sections.
However, the National Convener of AAP said that it is unfortunate that even after 75 years of freedom none of their aspirations have been fulfilled as those in power misused their authority to plunder the wealth. He said that previous regimes ruined Punjab by spreading the curse of drugs and corruption adding that they people mercilessly looted the public money for safeguarding their own interests. Arvind Kejriwal said that schools and hospitals were in shackles as these governments never bothered about providing quality health services and education to the youth of the state adding that drugs were introduced in the state by these leaders, which ruined our generations.

Bhagwant Singh Mann further said that naming the airports, universities and other institutions in the name of these iconic martyrs is important to perpetuate their glorious legacy. He said that the countrymen are enjoying the fruits of freedom due to the enormous sacrifices made by legendary heroes like Shaheed Udham Singh.
The Chief Minister said that Shaheed Udham Singh was a true son of soil, who had in a heroic act exhibited exemplary courage by killing Michael O&rsquo; Dwyer, the prime perpetrator of Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Bhagwant Mann said that the unprecedented sacrifice made by this iconic martyr at the altar of national freedom struggle helped the country to overthrow the yoke of British Imperialism. He further said that Shaheed Udham Singh waited for 21 years to avenge the massacre at Jallianwala Bagh and thus laid the foundation of the freedom of the nation.
The Chief Minister said that Shaheed Udham Singh killed Sir Michael O&rsquo; Dwyer in Caxton Hall adding that the Britishers conferred the title of Sir to their stooges. He said that one such title was given to the family which organized dinner for General Dyer on the same day when he conducted the barbaric Jallianwala Bagh massacre in April 1919. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that scion of this traitor family, which was involved in the drug trade, has been now lodged in the Nabha jail by the state government for ruining generations of Punjab.
The Chief Minister said that he had been regularly paying visits to the Caxton Hall where Shaheed Udham Singh had taken revenge on millions of Indians. He said that it is unfortunate that even after more than 75 years of freedom the benefits of freedom have still not reached every household. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that those in power had misused the freedom to spread the tentacles of chitta (drugs), amass wealth by plundering the masses, encouraging corruption along with other menaces.
The Chief Minister said that the successive Prime Ministers have delivered almost the same statements during their Independence Day speeches from the Red Fort. He said that it is the irony of the country that these leaders have delivered only theatricals to the people and masses are still far away from even basic amenities. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the dreams of martyrs like Shaheed Udham Singh have still not been realized as these people have never made any concerted effort in this regard.
The Chief Minister said that the Aam Aadmi Party is making tireless efforts to realize the dreams of the legendary martyrs adding that it is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction that this government is making concerted efforts in this regard. He said that every inch of this sacred land has the footprint of great Gurus, saints, seers and martyrs, who have shown us the way to oppose tyranny, injustice and oppression. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government has been making efforts to ensure the comprehensive development of the state and prosperity of its people.
The Chief Minister further said that Arvind Kejriwal is credited for bringing sectors like health, education, employment, power, water and infrastructure at the centre stage of national politics. He said that these sectors are the top priorities of his government and no stone is being left unturned for it. &nbsp;Bhagwant Singh Mann said that while the other political parties have always pursued the agenda of hatred and divisiveness, AAP under Kejriwal had given new direction to politics by according top priority to these sectors.
Highlighting another major welfare initiative, the Chief Minister spoke about the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna &mdash; the first-of-its-kind scheme in the country that provides cashless medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh for every resident family in Punjab. He proudly stated that Punjab is the first Indian state to offer such comprehensive healthcare coverage, which will significantly ease the financial burden on the public while ensuring quality health services. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this historic move is aimed at providing universal health care to all the families of the state.
The Chief Minister said that 55,000 government jobs have been given so far to the youth of the state, Aam Aadmi Clinics have been opened to impart quality health services to people, schools have been renovated across the state, canal water is reaching at the tail ends to benefit the farmers, 90% households are getting free power adding that several more pro-people initiatives are being taken. He said that Punjabis are born entrepreneurs and leaders due to which they have excelled in every arena across the globe adding that the hard work and resilience of the Punjabis is unmatched owing to which they shine in every sphere. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government is making all out efforts to utilise this spirit properly for progress of the state and carve out a &lsquo;Rangla Punjab&rsquo;.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister and Arvind Kejriwal felicitated the descendents of Shaheed Udham Singh.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening Anganwadi services by making them more robust, empowered, and people-centric. In a major move towards this goal, the government will complete the recruitment process for over 5,000 vacant posts of Anganwadi Workers and Helpers by September 30, 2025.
This was announced by Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, who stated that a special schedule has been issued for promotions, transfers/adjustments, and compassionate appointments for Anganwadi staff between July 23 and August 15.
She further informed that the department will process appointments for dependents of deceased Anganwadi workers from August 1 to August 8, while transfers and adjustments will be finalized before August 15.
In a landmark decision, Dr. Baljit Kaur highlighted that for the first time ever, the Punjab Government will provide job opportunities to dependents of Anganwadi workers or helpers who have become permanently disabled or unfit to work due to terminal illness during service.&nbsp;
The Cabinet Minister emphasized that the Mann Government is consistently working for the welfare, protection, and motivation of Anganwadi staff. &ldquo;These are not mere administrative steps but reflect our deep commitment to justice, empathy, and responsible governance. The government stands firmly with its frontline workers and will continue to safeguard their rights,&rdquo; she added.
Dr. Baljit Kaur also shared that advertisements for the vacant posts will be published on August 22, and the last date to submit applications will be September 22. The entire recruitment process will be carried out transparently and strictly on the basis of merit, with no room for interference or bias.&nbsp;
She concluded by saying that these initiatives are not limited to recruitments or transfers but represent a broader social commitment. &ldquo;Through these efforts, the Punjab Government is bringing grassroots-level transformation&mdash;not just in Anganwadi services, but in the lives of women and children across the state. This is a bold step towards a just, compassionate, and progressive Punjab.&rdquo;
