The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced SBI Life as an official partner for the upcoming BCCI Domestic and International Season from 2023 to 2026.
Under the terms of the agreement, SBI Life has entered into a 3-year partnership with the BCCI. This collaboration will kick off with the three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Australia, scheduled to begin on September 22.
BCCI president Roger Binny said after the announcement of new official partners, "We are thrilled to announce our partnership with SBI Life as the official partner of BCCI for both domestic and international cricket. SBI Life has been one of the torchbearers in the insurance sector and we are looking to build a solid partnership to take Indian cricket forward."

Shafali Verma bullied an inexperienced Malaysian attack with a sparkling 39-ball-67 as India entered the semi-final of the women's cricket event at the Asian Games by virtue of better ICC rankings after Thursday's quarter-final was abandoned due to rain.
The match was reduced to 15 over-a-side affair and India scored an imposing 173 for 2, courtesy Shafali, skipper Smriti Mandhana's 27 off 16 balls, Jemimah Rodrigues' 29-ball-47. Richa Ghosh's 7-ball-21 cameo was like a cherry on top of the cake.
It was going to be next to impossible for Malaysia to even think of surpassing 100-run mark let alone chase the target, which was revised to 177 as per DLS method.
Malaysia played only two deliveries before heavy rain played spoilsport and the match had to be called off.
India are top seeded Asian team in the competition as per their ICC ranking on June 1.
On a slow deck, Malaysia skipper Winifred Duraisingam elected to field and her team did let her down due to sloppy fielding as they dropped a few catches.
Malaysia's bowling didn't have enough sting to trouble the Indian batters.
The lack of pace in their deliveries forced Shafali to walk down the track in order to meet the ball early. Mandhana, at the other end, got some full-tosses which were dispatched to all corners of the ground.
Mandhana was dismissed after the opening pair got 59 within the Powerplay when she tried to pull a delivery, which was bowled slightly on the fuller side from spinner Mahira Izzati Ismail.
Shafali's innings had five sixes apart from four boundaries and mostly in the region between square leg and deep mid-wicket apart from a straight six that got her to a well-compiled half-century.
Rodrigues also looked in good touch as she got six boundaries and added 86 for the second wicket with Shafali.
Shafali was also hit on her right forearm when she couldn't evade a powerful bowler's back-drive by Rodrigues and needed an urgent taping.
She got a reprieve in the deep off Mas Elysa's bowling but immediately after that was caught plumb in-front.
Richa came in and blasted four boundaries in the 15th and final over of the innings which took India past the 170-run mark.

Antim Panghal shocked reigning champion Olivia Dominique Parrish en route to the World Championship semifinals, but the young grappler's giant-killing run was halted in the last-four stage, leaving her fighting for a bronze medal and a Paris Olympic quota place.
Panghal, the 53kg grappler, lost the semifinal bout to world No.23 Vanesa Kaladzinskaya -- a Belarusian competing as a neutral athlete -- on technical points 5-4.
But the Indian can still earn an Olympic quota if she wins the bronze-medal match or emerges triumphant in the bout between the losers of the bronze-medal contest.
Underlining her growth and a smooth transition from the junior to the senior circuit, the two-time U20 champion won the first three bouts of the day to enter the semifinal even as other Indian contenders bit the dust in their respective categories.
The two-time U20 champion Panghal slipped to a 0-2 deficit at the start of the bout against USA's Parrish but edged her rival 3-2 in the opening round.
She later outplayed Poland's Roksana Marta Zasina by technical superiority and followed it up with a 9-6 win over Russian Natalia Malysheva, who is competing as a neutral athlete.
Earlier, American Parrish swung into action with a quick take-down move from a right-leg attack. Unperturbed, the 19-year-old Indian began to defend well and foiled two similar attempts, not conceding any more points till the end of the first period.
With her strong defense continuing, Panghal did not let Parrish make any attacking move and as a result, the American was put on the clock.
Panghal got hold of the American's left leg and converted that into a successful take-down move to draw parity. She tried to get a leg lace but could not pull off the move.
The American lost a point on passivity. Standing wrestling followed and Panghal defended her slender lead to walk out a winner.
She needed only one minute and 38 seconds to outplay Zasina in her next bout, beating the Poland wrestler by technical superiority to move into the quarterfinals.
After two take-down moves, Panghal pulled off leg-lace move with perfection to finish the bout in a jiffy.
In the quarterfinal, she led 6-0 but Natalia from Russia effected a comeback with a take-down and consecutive gut-wrench points to make it 6-6.
On the counter-attack, Panghal took the lead again. The Indian extended the lead with a left-leg attack which she converted into a take-down. After that, about 30 seconds were still left in the bout but Paghal denied her rival.
However, Manisha (62kg), Priyanka (68kg) and Jyoti Berwal (72kg) have lost their bouts and exited the tournament.
All 10 men's freestyle wrestlers have already exited the tournament without winning either an Olympic quota or a medal in non-Olympic categories.
All Indian athletes are competing under the UWW flag because the wrestling federation is suspended.&nbsp;

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) took the decision on Wednesday to have joint flag-bearers for the continental showpiece.
A total of 655 Indian athletes are competing in the Asian Games this time, which is the largest contingent ever.
"We arrived at the decision after much deliberation today," Indian contingent Chef de Mission Bhupender Singh Bajwa told PTI.
"This time we will have two flag-bearers leading the contingent at the Asian Games -- hockey captain Harmanpreet Singh and boxer Lovlina Borgohain," added Bajwa, who is also Wushu Association of India chief.
Star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra had done the honours at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games.
Lovlina had won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics in the 69kg category. This year, she won gold in 75kg category at the World Women's Boxing Championship in New Delhi.
Harmanpreet is one of the best drag-flickers in the world and was part of the team that won the historic bronze at the Tokyo Games, breaking the more than four-decade-long Indian hockey team's medal drought in the Olympics.
The Indian men's hockey team would be aiming for a gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games to secure automatic qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Bajwa will be assisted at the Asian Games by four deputy chefs de mission as the job entails a lot of responsibility.

After arranging for a sustenance budget of Rs 1 crore that keeps him going on the ATP Tour, India's number one tennis player Sumit Nagal is left with less than Rs 1 lakh in his bank account and a morose feeling of not leading a good life.
He has been training at the Nansel Tennis Academy in Germany for a few years but lack of funds meant that he could not train at his favourite place in the first three months of season 2023.
His friends Somdev Devvarman and Christopher Marcuis helped him stay in shape in January and February before he finally managed to fund his stay in Germany.
The fund crunch is the story of probably every Indian tennis player but the fact that the country's number one singles player is not saving enough money for himself and his family just exposes the unhelpful system and the brutal Tour where the players wage lonely battles.
To stay and play on the extravagant ATP Tour, Nagal has invested all his prize money, his salary from IOCL and the support he gets from Maha Tennis Foundation.
The expenditure goes into his stay at the training centre in Peine and his travel for tournaments along with either his coach or a physio.
"If I look at my bank balance, I have what I had at the beginning of the year. It is 900 euros (approx Rs 80,000). I did get a bit of help. Mr Prashant Sutar is helping me with MAHA Tennis Foundation and I also get monthly (salary) from IOCL but I don't have any big sponsor," Nagal told PTI in an interview.
Nagal's racquet, shoes and apparel needs are being taken care of by Yonex and ASICS respectively.
This year in 24 tournaments played, Nagal has earned about 65 lakh with his biggest pay cheque coming from the US Open where he lost the first round of the Qualifiers and still pocketed USD 22,000 (approx Rs 18 lakh).
"I am investing whatever I am making. The yearly cost where I travel with one coach is costing me around 80 lakh to 1 crore and that is just with one travelling coach (no physio). Whatever I have made I have already invested.
"I feel like I am lacking support despite being India's number one player for past few years. I am the only player to qualify for Grand Slams, only player to win a (tennis) match at the Olympics (Tokyo) in last few years, and still the government has not added my name to the TOPS.
"I felt when my ranking dropped after injury, no one wanted to help me, no one really believed that I could be back. That was disappointing because I feel whatever I do is not enough. It's so hard to find financial support in India. To be honest I do not know what to do, I have given up." The son of a primary school teacher in Punjabi Bagh, Nagal fought off-court battles last year when he underwent a hip surgery and also contracted COVID a couple of times.
It was not surprising that he began to doubt if he will ever get back to tennis courts. Sitting and waiting is never easy for an athlete.
"Rehab took six months, then coming back to play took another six months. I would say I took a year-and-a-half, just to feel okay.
"It was in mid-summer last year when I started feeling better. I lost a few matches I should have won, I lost matches from match-points or when serving for a match and when I was a set and a break up. I got COVID twice last year, so I had long, long two years.
"I don't have anything in savings. I am just breaking even. I can not say I live a very good life or where I say I don't need to work. I did not earn anything in the last two years so I am happy that I am breaking even. At least I am not in minus where I have to leave academy and travel on my own." Nagal said his coaches advised him to save money and then get back to Germany.
"I sat with Sasha Nansel (his coach) and Milos (his fitness trainer). They said you do a few things yourself and try to save as much money as possible in India and we start again in April again.
"I travel with one of the two, and this is just the basic. I am not saying I want to stay at a five star hotel, nothing like that, this is just the basic." A look at the ATP singles chart shows that Nagal is best-ranked Indian at 159. The next best is Sasikumar Mukund, way back at 407.
Out of action Prajnesh Gunneswaran is further behind at number 540 and is followed by Digvijay Pratap Singh (554) and Ramkumar Ramanathan (569).
Nagal rues that Indian singles players not just lack the financial support but also the guidance.
"We lack funding, we lack the system. If there is a system, there will be funding. China has money. We have potential like China. Why do we win just 5-6 medals in Olympics but China won 38 gold (in Tokyo).
"We are 1.4 billion, we can match them in talent but why we do not make it to high level? The guidance is missing. In tennis, we are far away from competing at top.
"I am improving. I do feel I have the game. If my body is good and I am playing tournaments, I feel I am ready (for big leap)."

In reply, Bangalore lost skipper Smriti Mandhana for 18 but Sophie Devine kept her side in the run chase with a gritty 66.
However, a 30-run cameo off just 11 balls by Heather Knight too couldn't take RCB over the finish line as they have now lost all 3 games so far.

The Indian football team had a tough day at the office but still managed to get all three points against Bangladesh in the Group A encounter at the Asian Games 2023.
The Indian team, predominantly comprising lesser-experienced players, aimed to bounce back after their massive 1-5 defeat to China in their first game.
Throughout the match, India made numerous attempts to breach the resilient Bangladeshi defence. However, they faced difficulty in finding the net, leading to a goalless first half. Even in the second half, chances seemed to slip away, with a Samuel Kynshi free-kick hitting the crossbar, keeping the score level.
It was in the 84th minute that left winger Bryce Miranda received a long pass near the opposition box. A foul by Bangladesh captain Rahmat Mia resulted in India being awarded a crucial penalty.
Stepping up to the challenge, Captain Sunil Chhetri confidently placed the ball into the bottom-left corner, granting India a late 1-0 advantage. The Indian side, under Igor Stimac's guidance, held firm to their lead, securing a significant win that keeps them firmly in the running for the knockout stage.

Australian captain Pat Cummins said he is hoping to play all three ODIs and also provided a positive update on Steve Smith, who is also fit and ready for the India series.

Australia will miss the services of Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Starc in the first ODI of the 3-match series against India. Aussie captain Pat Cummins confirmed this news during the pre-series press conference in Mohali on Thursday, expressing hope for their return "later on" in the series.
Cummins said, "We've got plenty of people at different stages," Cummins said in the pre-series press conference. "I am feeling pretty good. My wrist is all healed up... I hope to play tomorrow, hoping to play all three games... Starcy won't play tomorrow but hopefully, he'll be available for later on the series, same for Glenn Maxwell... He (Starc) has been bowling back in Sydney and all going to plan. He might bowl today or tomorrow and build up. Same with Glenn Maxwell, he has a similar time frame to Starcy."
On a positive note, Cummins himself is making a comeback to ODI fold after a few months of being sidelined due to a wrist injury, and he will be available for all the matches. Additionally, Steve Smith, has also recovered from his wrist injury, is expected to rejoin the playing XI.
Starc had to grapple with a shoulder injury during Ashes 2023, and he also missed Australia's recent tour of South Africa due to "groin soreness." On the other hand, Maxwell, although part of the South Africa tour, encountered a minor aggravation to his left ankle, hampering his participation. The right-handed batter has not played ODI cricket since March, when he suffered a fractured fibula.

South Africa were dealt twin blows weeks ahead of the ODI World Cup after injured pacers Anrich Nortje and Sisanda Magala were ruled out of the tournament in India, head coach Rob Walter confirmed on Thursday.
Bowling all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo and seamer Lizaad Williams have replaced the duo in the World Cup-bound squad.
"It's hugely disappointing for Anrich and Sisanda to be missing out on the 50-over World Cup. Both are quality players that add immense value to the Proteas," Walter said.
"We sympathise in their omission and will continue to provide all the necessary support as they work towards their return to competitive action," he added.
Nortje has a lower back injury. The 29-year-old seamer experienced back spasms during the second ODI against Australia and underwent assessments and scans.
Magala, on the other hand, has a left knee problem. Both Nortje and Magala were part of South Africa's initial 15-member squad for the marquee event.
However, with the South African team set to leave for India on Saturday, both players failed to recover in time for the World Cup, forcing the team management to name replacements.
"This provides an opportunity for Andile and Lizaad on the global stage. Both players have been part of our winter programs as well as having represented South Africa in the recent white-ball tour against Australia," Walter said.
"They offer great skill sets and we're excited to have them complete the 15-player squad for this year's World Cup." Nortje's injury is a major blow for South Africa as he is one of the quickest bowlers in world cricket at the moment and has substantial experience playing in India. His express speed and ability to generate bounce make him a valuable asset for the Proteas in all formats of the game.
Phehlukwayo is a like-for-like replacement for Magala. He showcased his batting prowess in the final ODI against Australia.
