Saptak Talwar Faces Challenge While Alvaro Hernandez Shines at Finnish Open

Saptak Talwar began his campaign at the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge on a challenging note, finishing the first round with a score of 1-over 73, placing him in a tie for 104th. This leaves him with significant work to do to make the cut, especially after his impressive performance last week at the Irish Challenge.

Alvaro Hernandez Cabezuela, leading the competition, delivered an exceptional performance with a 9-under 63. Despite his struggles earlier in the Hotel Planner Tour season, the Spaniard will aim to capitalize on this strong start in Finland.

Sharing the fifth position are South African Wilco Nienaber, Scotsman David Law, Englishmen Josh Berry and George Mason, along with the Dutch duo Vince van Veen and Lars van Meijel, each finishing at seven under par.
