Yet another opportunity for Team India to turn their fortunes around in an ICC knockout game went begging, as England tamed the Men in Blue by 10 wickets in T20 World Cup 2022 semi-final on Thursday.

Put into bat, the opening duo of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma once again failed to give their side a good start. India's go-to man Suryakumar Yadav failed on the big stage and was out for 14 as India found themselves wanting at 3 down for 75 in 11.2 overs.

That's when Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya got together and stitched together a 61-run stand. While Virat got out soon after his 4th half-century of the tournament, Hardik went on to smash a 33-ball-63, helping India finish at a respectable 168/6.

In reply, England ran riot. India didn't know what struck them as Jos Buttler and Alex Hales tamed the bowlers with unbeaten 80 and 86 respectively, powering England to a 10-wicket win with 4 overs to spare.

The Three Lions advanced to the final and have now staged an ultimate showdown vs Pakistan on Sunday.
