Tennis legend Roger Federer had a heartwarming response to a question posed by his former arch-rival and longtime friend Rafael Nadal in a video message.

At the ongoing Laver Cup in Vancouver, Federer was shown a video wherein Rafa asked him, 'Who's been your favourite doubles partner?'

In response, Federer smiled and said, 'I mean.. I thought it was my wife until this guy showed up… Rafa can have it.'

Former player and tennis analyst Jim Courier asked Federer if he wanted to wink back at Rafa.

The 42-year-old laughed, winked back and harked back on his retirement at Laver Cup 2022, terming it as 'special, on another level'.
