Oh My God! Alexander Zverev attacks chair umpire, kicked out of Mexican Open 2022

World No. 3 and Olympic champion Alexander Zverev has been expelled from the ongoing Mexican Open after his 'unsportsmanlike conduct', said the organisers of the ATP tournament on Wednesday.

In Tuesday's match of the round of 16, the German Tennis player threw an unnecessary tantrum after the completion of the match that he and his partner Marcelo Melo lost to Britain's Llyod Glasspool and Finland's Harri Heliovaara. A video of the match shows Zverev foul-mouthing the referee of the match and smashing his racket at the official's chair three times. Zverev who was likely irritated due to a line call during the match first hit the chair and then rose again to verbally abuse the referee Alessandro Germani.

Due to unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of his doubles match on Tuesday night, Alexander Averev has been withdrawn from the tournament in Acapulco, the global Tennis governing body said.
