In a statement, a spokesperson from Drishti Marine, the Goa government's appointed lifesaving agency, confirmed that the athletes were attended to promptly. They emphasized that vinegar is a valuable resource for treating jellyfish stings.

Furthermore, a 16-year-old triathlete from Manipur who experienced a leg fracture during the running segment of the event also received immediate first aid. Following initial treatment, the injured athlete was transferred to the state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital near the competition venue.

To ensure the safety of participants and spectators during the National Games, the agency has deployed a total of 16 experienced lifesavers. Additionally, two beach safety dogs and two AI-powered robots, Aurus and Triton, are working in coordination to maintain beach safety and crowd control during various sporting events.
