Hockey World Cup 2023 semifinals: Australia vs Germany & Belgium vs Netherlands

Germany and the Netherlands have joined World No. 1 Australia and defending champions Belgium in the semifinals of the Hockey World Cup 2023 in Odisha.

In the first semifinal, Australia will lock horns with Germany in Bhubaneshwar's Kalinga Stadium.

Both teams came from behind to win their respective quarterfinal games to book a spot in the final four.

Meanwhile, in the second semifinal, Belgium will be up against their 2018 World Cup final opponents the Netherlands.

Both the 2018 World Cup finalists booked their spots in the semis with easy wins in their respective quarterfinals.
