Here's how Novak Djokovic can participate in French Open despite vaccine hesitancy

After missing the Australian Open due to strict Covid-19 rules, Novak Djokovic is likely to participate in the 2022 French Open as France will be easing its vaccination rules later this month.

French prime minister Jean Castex revealed on Thursday that vaccine passports will not be necessary to access venues in France from March 14.

This means Djokovic could compete at Roland Garros in May if French authorities don't tighten the rules in the coming months.

The Serbian tennis star will be defending his title in the 2022 French Open.

Earlier, Djokovic stated that he would not compete in the 2022 French Open and Wimbledon if the vaccine was made compulsory for participation.

34-year-old Djokovic is tied with Roger Federer on 20 grand slam titles while Rafael Nadal has won 21 titles.
