'He won't take part in Australian Open', says Novak Djokovic's father

World No.1 Novak Djokovic is unlikely to participate in the Australian Open said his father Srdjan Djokovic. The Serbian Tennis star whose participation in the upcoming Grand Slam is at the center of the discussion has been reluctant in sharing his vaccination status.

Speculations of him not taking part in the event have been floating since the Australian Open organisers ruled out the possibility of having any un-vaccinated participant at the event which is slated to begin on January 17th.

While the 9-time Australian Open winner and the defending champion is yet to confirm his participation, his father said that under such blackmailing conditions, Djoko probably won't take part.

Seconding his son's opinion on vaccination, Srdjan further said that as far vaccines and non vaccines are concerned, it is the personal right of everyone whether they do it or not.

The Big three, Roger Federer, Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal are all tied at 20 Grand Slams each.
