Commonwealth Games 2022: Anahat Singh will be the youngest Indian participant at this year's Commonwealth Games. She will compete in the women's singles category along with Joshna Chinappa and Sunyana Kuruvilla at Birmingham 2022.

Commonwealth Games 2022: At the age of 14 when most kids haven't even decided on their career path, Anahat Singh will be representing India at this year's Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Birmingham.

Anahat, who is part of India's squash squad, will be the youngest Indian participant at this year's CWG. She will compete in the women's singles event along with Joshna Chinappa and Sunyana Kuruvilla at Birmingham 2022.

Anahat got selected for the quadrennial event on the back of a sensational run at the Under-15 level.

Recently, she steamrolled her opponents in the Asian Junior Squash Championships in Pattaya, reaching the final without dropping a single game, and finally defeated Hong Kong's Kwong Ena 3-0 to claim the top prize.

Anahat Singh's career

Having started playing at the age of 8, she became India's top-ranked player in the Under 11 category in a very short span of time. She is the only Indian girl to win the US Junior Open in any category.

In her promising career so far, Anahat has won many accolades and currently, she is the top-ranked U-15 player in India and Asia.

Anahat has 46 titles at national circuits, along with eight international titles.
