In honour of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, messages will be aired on television and social media during Champions League games next week, UEFA General Secretary Theodore Theodoridis announced on Tuesday during a sports conference held in the UN's European headquarters. During his speech delivered at the UN, he promised to do more to advance human rights and shield female players from harassment.&nbsp;
UEFA also agreed to strengthen the fight against discrimination in all its forms and admitted to the mistakes made in the past under Theodoridis' leadership.&nbsp;
The event on Tuesday was hosted by the Geneva-based Centre for Sport and Human Rights, UEFA's risk adviser for the 2024 European Championship in men's soccer which it wants to be inclusive and tackle discrimination.

India's Sift Kaur won the first individual gold medal in the 50-meter rifle event. India won the bronze medal in the skeet shooting men's team event. Isha Singh won a silver medal in the women's 25-meter air pistol event. Vishnu Saravanan won the bronze medal in the sailing men's event. India had a good day for horse riding.
