Singapore World Championships: Open Water Events Postponed

Singapore, July 15 (AP) – The World Championships in Singapore have faced a scheduling setback with the open water swimming events being postponed due to "water quality levels exceeding acceptable thresholds," according to a statement from the sport's governing body, World Aquatics.

The women's 10-kilometer race, initially set to kick off the program on Tuesday, has been rescheduled to Wednesday. It will now take place alongside the men's 10-kilometer race the same day.

Additional open water events are slated for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
