'We are the best in history', Real Madrid fans celebrate Champions League win at Cibeles square

Real Madrid clinched their 14th title and the elated fans of the Spanish club celebrated late Saturday night at the Cibeles square in Madrid.

A goalkeeping masterclass by Thibaut Courtois and a goal by Vinicius Junior powered Carlo Ancelloti's men to register a 1-0 win against Liverpool who also lost the Premier League trophy earlier this week.

Madrid finished a remarkable Champions League journey with a win. They first defeated Paris Saint Germain in the round of 16, then went past Chelsea in an extra-time thriller in the quarterfinal and finally won against Manchester City in their semis to make it to the finals. Calling it well-deserved a Real Madrid fan said, 'They should keep playing like this for many more years, we deserve this, we´re the best in history'.
