Royal Challengers Bengaluru kept their playoff dreams intact through Rajat Patidar’s blazing fifty and a strong-willed effort from the bowlers, who set up the hosts' 47-run victory over Delhi Capitals in the IPL on Sunday.

RCB now have 12 points from 13 matches which is as same as the Capitals and need a win against Chennai Super Kings in the last league match here on May 18 to push their case for a playoff berth.

The squad's amazing comeback, according to RCB's pacer Yash Dayal, has been driven by an attacking mindset and a supportive team culture.

Dayal said that their Team's remarkable comeback in the current IPL can be attributed in large part to a strong sense of team unity.

"I think there was a positive change. Even if we were losing matches, no one was pointing out any one particular, so that was a big positive point in my view. And the whole season we have stayed positive and not much has changed. Just that we have become a bit more attacking. Attacking mode has been switched on because when you lose too many matches in a season, morale can go down...but it didn't affect us much. We bounced back well", Dayal said in a post-match press conference.
