The Narendra Modi Stadium witnessed huge crowds braving the Ahmedabad heat to pick up IPL final tickets.

Fans in Ahmedabad witnessed huge queues at the Narendra Modi Stadium and had to wait in the scorching Ahmedabad heat in order to get their tickets for Qualifier 2 as well as the final.

Many fans expressed their disappointment as even after getting an online ticket, they were asked to pick up a physical ticket in order to gain entry into the stadium. This meant thousands had to line up outside the stadium in temperatures over the 40-degree mark.

Many other fans took to their Twitter accounts and criticised the ticket-handling team which kept fans waiting outside the gate for 2-3 hours.
