IPL 2024 points table: KKR leapfrog Rajasthan Royals to take top spot; LSG in a muddle as CSK win

The Kolkata Knight Riders are new table topped of IPL 2024. KKR leapfrogged the Rajasthan Royals at the top after thrashing the Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday. They now have 16 points from 11 outings.

RR were pushed to the second spot despite the same number of points but KKR have a better net run rate.

The Chennai Super Kings climbed to the 3rd spot after beating the Punjab Kings on the same day. They now have 12 points from 11 games.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad may not have played on Sunday but they climbed to the 4th spot as LSG's net run rate took a major hit after a 98-run thrashing.

KL Rahul's men slipped 2 points to the 5th position after losing their 2nd game in 3 outings.

The Delhi Capitals are in the 6th position and need to win remaining 3 games in order to stand a chance of making it to the playoffs.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru are next on the list and are also in a do or die situation with just 8 points from 11 matches.

Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans are 8th and 9th respectively on the points table as they have lost 7 games each in 11 outings.

The Mumbai Indians continue to be at the bottom with 8 losses from 11 matches so far.
