IPL 2022: Sri-Lankan cricketer compares Virat Kohli's fitness with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo

Virat Kohli is unarguably one of the fittest cricketers in the world. His fitness has been inspiring fans and athletes. Sri-Lankan batter Bhanuka Rajapaksa is one of them and he wants to seek fitness advice from Virat.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa is playing for Punjab Kings in IPL 2022 and played a crucial knock of 43 off 22 balls against RCB to lead his team to register a win. Rajapaksa who was dropped from his national team last month over fitness issues now seeks advice from the former Indian skipper to take his fitness to the next level.

In an interview with PTI, Rajapaksa said, "Outside of the team, Virat Kohli is always someone I could speak to and get some fitness advice. He's at another different level when it comes to fitness."

Rajapaksa further said, "To me, he is the Cristiano Ronaldo of cricket for sure." He feels that if he is fit, his international career would be longer.
