A dream start for a new team and their new skipper, Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans have turned heads with 8 wins in 9 games. These include 5 back-to-back victories after Saturday's win against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The elated skipper who has hands down done an effortless job in leading the team, said that Gujarat Titans has no hierarchy and is a team of equals. Hardik Pandya's performance until the beginning of IPL 2022 was under the scanner due to his back injury. He had last played for Team India in the World T20 and since then the 28-year-old Baroda-based cricketer has remained out of favor.

Meanwhile, Rahul Tewatia once again proved instrumental in the debutants' 6-wicket victory in their 9th match of the season. He along with David Miller stood tall and took their team over the finish line with a brilliant 79-run partnership. Praising his confidence, Pandya said that Tewatia has been tremendous for Gujarat as he steps up for the team whenever needed.
