IPL 2022, Match 20, LSG vs RR preview: High-octane clash on cards at Wankhede

In Match 20 of IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals in a high octane clash at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

With three wins in four matches, IPL debutant Lucknow have had a dream start to their campaign and the KL Rahul-led side recorded comprehensive wins in the last three matches.

Lucknow have a star-studded batting line-up with the likes of KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Evin Lewis and Deepak Hooda along with youngster Ayush Badoni, who emerged as a prolific finisher for Super Giants.

In the bowling department, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi put up spirited show in the four matches and bamboozled many established T20 players with their pinpoint line and length. Meanwhile, addition of West Indian all-rounder Jason Holder has added greater depth in both bowling and batting departments.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have one of the best bowling line ups in the tournament. They world class spinners in Yuzvendra Chahal and Ashwin while Prasidh Krishna and Trent Boult have been exceptional in the pace bowling department.

However, they lack depth in the all-rounders slot after Nathan Coulter-Nile was ruled out of the tournament due to side strain. James Neesham is expected to replace Riyan Parag in Rajasthan Playing XI given the latter has failed to make a impression in IPL so far.
