IPL 2022: Lucknow skipper KL Rahul feels Ayush Badoni is a 'great find for India'

Ayush Badoni who has just started his Indian Premier League journey has proved instrumental in both the matches that his team, Lucknow Super Giants have played so far. Looking at his effectiveness in edgy situations, the Lucknow skipper KL Rahul is impressed.

Calling the batting of the 22-year-old phenomenal, Rahul said that Badoni is a 360-degree player who is a great find for India and an asset to white-ball cricket.

I'd seen a few videos, when you only get to see the good shots, but the way he has been batting is phenomenal, KL said.

While in Lucknow's opener, when a fiery lineup of batters failed against Gujarat Titans, Badoni along with Deepak Hooda helped them make a stunning comeback. Although the team lost the game by 5 wickets, Hooda with his unbeaten 54 off 41 became the star of the show. Keeping up the same spirits, he smashed a 9 ball 19 against Chennai
and helped them register their first-ever win in IPL.
