IPL 2022 LSG vs CSK Preview: On Thursday, the Lucknow Super Giants(LSG) will take on the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their second match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Both the teams lost their opening matches of IPL 2022. LSG lost to Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans while CSK were defeated by Shreyas Iyer's Kolkata Knight Riders.

IPL 2022 Points Table after RR's win over SRH

LSG were stunned in their opening game as they failed to save their early wickets. The opening pair of KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock failed miserably as Mohammed Shami accounted for three of the LSG's major wickets in no time. However, Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni rescued the team with the much-needed half-centuries.

Similar to LSG, Chennai Super Kings' opening batting lineup too collapsed miserably in their first match against a spirited Kolkata Knight Riders. However, Dhoni's first half-century in the last 3 years helped Chennai post a respectable score of 131. Although Ruturaj Gaikwad failed to score runs in the first match but considering his consistency in the last two seasons, the team won't be worried.

Moeen Ali has also joined the squad and will possibly be playing CSk's second match.
