IPL 2022: Good news for Delhi, David Warner and Anrich Nortje available for selection

Ahead of their third match against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capital’s assistant coach Shane Watson has announced that David Warner and Anrich Nortje are available for the selection.

David Warner has played 143 matches in his IPL career and has scored 5286 runs with an impressive strike rate of 140.55. Nortje has played 24 matches in IPL so far and has taken 34 wickets with an economy of 7.65.

In a virtual press conference on Wednesday, Shane Watson said, "David Warner is out of quarantine, so he’s definitely available for selection for the next game, which is very exciting. Anrich Nortje has been going incredibly well over the last couple of weeks, since he’s arrived here in India. And he has passed his fitness test to be available for selection."

While speaking about the Lucknow Super Giants, Shane said that LSG is a strong team, and KL Rahul can take the game away from any team.

Having won one match out of two, Delhi Capitals will play against Lucknow Super Giants in Match 15 of IPL 2022 on Thursday.
