IPL 2023 SRH vs RCB: Virat Kohli feasts on Hyderabad bowlers, slams 6th IPL hundred

Riding on a special hundred from Virat Kohli, the Royal Challengers Bangalore cruised into the top 4 after a thumping 8-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

IPL 2023 SRH vs RCB: Virat Kohli feasts on Hyderabad bowlers, slams 6th IPL hundred

King Kohli keeps the RCB dream alive!

When the pressure was high, Virat Kohli stepped up and delivered for his side yet again!

The 34-year-old star batter smashed his 6th IPL hundred against Sunrisers Hyderabad in what was a must-win encounter for the Royal Challengers, and Kohli’s innings propelled them into a playoff spot for the time being at least.

It takes something special to overshadow an IPL hundred by an opposition player in the same match.

However, Kohli relishes moments like these and made the fans forget Heinrich Klaasen's century with his match-winning ton in front of a full-house in Hyderabad.

His 63-ball 100 showcased some of the best shots in his armoury, some so stunning that even his partner Faf du Plessis was in awe.

The 12 fours and 4 sixes off his bat left the SRH bowlers bamboozled and clueless on the night.

Kohli, with his stunning 6th ton in the competition’s history, equalled Chris Gayle’s long-standing record of most hundreds in IPL.

Kohli has now registered a total of 7 centuries in T20 cricket, and he has edged ahead of his compatriots Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, who have a total of 6 centuries in T20s.

RCB must be feeling the momentum is on their side and with King Kohli performing like the way he did, a playoff spot is now within their reach.
