In reply, skipper Rohit Sharma's poor run continued as he was sent back for a duck by Rishi Dhawan on just the 3rd delivery of the innings.

However, it was Ishan Kishan who stepped up and top scored on the night with 75 runs.

Back in form Suryakumar Yadav's fiery 31-ball 66 came at the right time as the duo conjured up a match-winning 116-run partnership for the visitors.

Even though the pair was dismissed in consecutive overs, cameos from Tim David and Tilak Varma helped MI surpass the total in the 19th over itself.
