India's 1st innings: Declared at 518/5.

West Indies 1st innings: 248 all out.

West Indies 2nd innings (following on): Scored 173/2 overnight and concluded at 390 runs after 118.5 overs.

Key batting performances: John Campbell secured 115 runs before being dismissed lbw to Jadeja. Tagenarine Chanderpaul made 10 runs, caught by Gill off the bowling of Siraj. Alick Athanaze contributed 7, bowled by Washington Sundar. Shai Hope added a strong 103 runs to the board before being bowled by Siraj. Roston Chase made a confident 40 before being caught by substitute Padikkal off Kuldeep. Tevin Imlach was lbw to Kuldeep for 12. Justin Greaves remained not out at 50. Khary Pierre was caught by Reddy off Kuldeep for a duck. Jomel Warrican was clean bowled by Bumrah for 3 runs. Anderson Phillip scored 2 runs before being caught by Jurel off Bumrah. Jayden Seales added 32 runs, caught by Washington off Bumrah.
