India become No. 1 men's team across formats, second team ever to achieve feat

India are the second team after South Africa to ever become the No. 1 side across all three formats.

Team India have become the No. 1 ranked side in the world across all three formats.

India are only the second team after South Africa and the first Asian nation to achieve this feat. The Proteas were No. 1 in all three formats back in 2014.

While Rohit Sharma's men were already top of the pile in ODIs and T20Is, their win in Nagpur Test saw them leapfrog the Aussies to the top spot in the longest format as well.

India currently have 115, 114, and 267 rating points in Tests, ODIs & T20Is respectively.
