Team India became the new World No. 1 in ODIs after a 90-run victory against New Zealand in the 3rd ODI.

Chasing a mammoth 386 for victory, opener Devon Conway kept New Zealand in the hunt with a sensational hundred. In fact, at the halfway mark, the Kiwis were 184/2,

2 wickets in 2 balls for Shardul Thakur though turned the game on its head. While Conway was smashing them at one end, his partners couldn't quite convert their starts.

And then the 31-year-old's departure in the 32nd over all but ended New Zealand's hopes.

Bracewell and Santner did strike a few boundaries but in the end, New Zealand were bowled out 90 runs short of India's score, Rohit Sharma's men also completed a 3-0 clean sweep with the victory in Indore.

Earlier, Shubman Gill made it three 100+ scores in 4 innings and Rohit Sharma ended a 3-year wait for his 30th ODI ton to power India to a mammoth 385 from their 50 overs.
