Netherlands riding on confidence after win over Bangladesh | NED vs BAN | ODI World Cup 2023

The Netherlands is high on confidence after beating Bangladesh in ODI World Cup 2023 game on Saturday.

In fact, it was their second win of this tournament as they had also stunned South Africa earlier in the World Cup.

After convincingly beating the Bangla Tigers, Netherlands bowler Shariz Ahmad said that his side has its eyes set on reaching the semifinals.

'It has been great. It has been great in patches. Obviously we want to be winning more games and reach the semi finals, that is our target. So, we are learning quickly and this win will help us very much,' said Shariz Ahmad following the 87-run victory.

'It is massive. Obviously a win helps a lot. We were not in our A-game against Australia I feel. So, coming back now strongly and winning today was very massive for us,' he concluded.
