Following the thrilling 10th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 between South Africa and Australia, the points table witnessed a significant reshuffle. South Africa's cricketing prowess has propelled them to the top spot, firmly establishing their dominance with two wins out of two matches played and a remarkable net run rate of +2.360. The Proteas reaffirmed their status as serious contenders as their pacers fired in tandem after Quinton de Kock's blazing century, paving the way for a dominant 134-run win over Australia in the World Cup

India, previously occupying the second position, experienced a minor setback. The Men in Blue also boast a flawless record of two victories from as many matches. However, due to the net run rate difference, South Africa's surge caused them to slide to third place in the standings.

The New Zealand cricket team who were occupying the top spot are now at the second position. They have amassed four points in the tournament, thanks to their consistent performance, and maintain a commendable net run rate of +1.958. They probably will take the first spot again after thy beat Bangladesh on Friday in their 3rd match.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan cricket team secured the fourth position, displaying a commendable presence in the tournament with four valuable points to their name. The World Cup has already seen some thrilling contests, and the competition promises to become more intense as the teams strive to secure their positions in the points table.
