Fans poured onto the streets to celebrate Real Madrid's record-extending 35th La Liga title. Carlo Ancelloti's men registered a thumping 4-0 victory against Espanyol on Saturday to win their second league title in three seasons.

Against a struggling Espanyol, Rodrygo first scored a brace in the 33rd and 43rd minute which was then followed by Marco Asensio's 55th-minute strike. Karim Benzema sealed the deal for his team with the 4th goal in the 81st minute.

This is Real Madrid's 3rd league title in 6 years. It was a historic feat for the Italian manager and their captain as well. While Ancelotti became the first coach to lift the title in each of the top five European leagues, Marcelo, the captain of the team picked his 24th career title with the club, the maximum in Real’s history.
