Romelu Lukaku wants to return to Inter Milan from Chelsea

After having a nightmare season in Premier League, Chelsea's striker Romelu Lukaku wants to return to his former Serie A club Inter Milan.

Earlier, Romelu Lukaku reportedly agreed on his return to Inter Milan after re-joining Chelsea last year.

According to Sky Sports, Lukaku's lawyer will meet Inter on Tuesday for further talks about the possible return of the Belgian footballer to Serie A.

The 29-year old footballer signed a 5-year contract with Chelsea and joined the Blues for a club-record 97.5 million pounds in August 2021. Inter wants him back but the whopping price for Lukaku seems to be denying Simone Inzaghi's chances of taking the Belgian footballer back. The final decision over his future will rely on Chelsea's new owners.

Lukaku had a very disappointing season as he scored only 15 goals in all competitions from 44 games out of which only 8 goals came in Premier League.
