Premier League: Ronaldo's thunder strike for United, City's big loss & Arsenal's win

Manchester United pipped Tottenham 3-0 in their own backyard on a thrilling Saturday at Premier League. While Cristiano Ronaldo fired the first goal for the Red Devils in the 39th minute, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford sealed the deal for the visitors in the second half.

At St. James Park, Reece James' brace powered Chelsea to a thumping 3-0 win against Newcastle. Apart from James, Jorginho tripled the score on board with a penalty in the 81st minute.

Meanwhile, Brighton held Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at Anfield. Although Jordan Henderson opened the account for the Reds in the 4th minute itself and Sadio Mane doubled it after 20 minutes, the Seagulls made sure to equalise in the second half.

Continuing on their winning streak, Arsenal handed Leicester City a 2-0 defeat at the King Power stadium. Gabriel scored an early goal for Mikel Arteta's men in the 5 min which was later doubled by Emile Smith Rowe in the 18th minute. The Gunners have now won 7 of their last 9 games in all competitions.

For Manchester City, it did not turn out to be a good day. Crystal Palace got the better of the Citizens 2-0. While Wilfred Zaha scored in the 6th min, Conor Gallagher struck again near the end of the game. Despite the loss, Manchester City remains at the 3rd spot in the EPL standings.
