With no goals scored, it was a worrisome first half for Ralf Rangnick's men. A valiant effort by David de Gea who denied several chances to the hosts, saving 3 goals in the first half.

After a forgettable first half, Manchester United produced a clinical performance to turn the game on its head in the second half as they defeated Brentford 3-1 at home on Wednesday.

With no goals scored, it was a worrisome first half for Ralf Rangnick's men. A valiant effort by David de Gea who denied several chances to the hosts, saved 3 goals in the first half.

However, in the second half, the visitors made progress with Anthony Elanga breaking the deadlock in the 55th minute. Following him was Mason Greenwood who scored in the 62nd minute of the game.

Marcus Rashford also ended his 2-month long goal drought after netting the third goal in the 77th minute. Ivan Toney redeemed one for the Bees in the 85th minute.

Manchester United are now at the 7th position and Brentford at 14th on the Premier League table.
