In the English Premier League, Liverpool displayed a remarkable comeback, netting two late goals to secure a 3-1 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Despite trailing 1-0 at halftime due to Hwang Hee-Chan's goal at Molineux, Liverpool retaliated with goals from Cody Gakpo and Andy Robertson. An own goal by Hugo Bueno further solidified Liverpool's unbeaten streak.

Champions Manchester City also made a comeback at West Ham, with second-half goals by Jeremy Doku, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland, securing their position at the top of the table with their 5th win in as many games.

Tottenham Hotspur, on a winning streak, showcased an astonishing turnaround with two last-minute goals, triumphing 2-1 against promoted Sheffield United. Richarlison, a second-half substitute, broke his goal drought with the equaliser in the eighth minute of the 12-minute added time and set up Dejan Kulusevski for the winner just two minutes later, maintaining Spurs' position at second place on the table.

In contrast, Manchester United faced yet another defeat, marking their third loss in five games this season, with a 1-3 defeat against Brighton at Old Trafford. This defeat, their first at home in 13 months, marks their worst start since the 2014-15 campaign under Louis van Gaal.
