Premier League: Harry Kane steals the show as Tottenham beat Manchester City in a thriller

Tottenham Hotspur overcame Manchester City 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday night, with Harry Kane's stoppage-time goal blowing the Premier League title race wide open.

The high octane encounter at the Ethihad started with an early goal from Dejan Kulusevski which gave Tottenham a 1-0 lead in the 4th minute.

The Premier League leaders tried to score the equaliser but only found that in the 33rd minute when IIkay Gundogan scored for the Citizens.

After the break, Kane stood out for the Spurs and doubled the lead for his team in the 59th minute.

It seemed inevitable that Tottenham would steal a victory but Riyad Mahrez scored a penalty two minutes into the stoppage time in a bid to deny Spurs a grand win.

But there was still drama left in the game as Kane came to his team's rescue yet again and headed one home in the last minute of stoppage time to seal victory for his team.

After City's defeat, the race for Premier League title became interesting as the gap between Pep Guardiola's side and second-placed Liverpool has been reduced to 6 points only.
