Premier League: Gakpo, Salah, Nunez score twice as Liverpool hand Manchester United brutal 7-0 loss

Liverpool went on a rampage as they handed the high-flying Manchester United a mortifying 7-0 loss at Anfield in Premier League.

Cody Gakpo, Mohd Salah and Darwin Nunez all found the net twice to break Erik Ten Hag's men's 11-game unbeaten streak. The hosts extended United's 7-year wait for a win at Anfield, suffering their worst defeat since 1931.

Until the first 43 mins, the Red Devils, who recently won the Carabao Cup showed some spirit, after Cody Gakpo opened the scoring there was no turning back for Jurgen Klopp's side. The Dutch footballer found the net again 7 minutes later followed by Darwin Nunez and Mohd Salah's braces that left the visitors in shambles. Salah with his 2 goals also became Liverpool's record EPL scorer with 129 goals, ahead of Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler.

Roberto Firmino too struck in the 88th minute as Liverpool made it to the 5th spot of the EPL Table.
