Premier League: Arsenal come from behind to beat Villa, Man City held & Chelsea lose

Arsenal opened a 2-point lead at the top of the Premier League table with a come-from-behind 4-2 win against Aston Villa.

Mikel Arteta's men scored 2 goals in stoppage time to go top of the table after Villa had threatened to take home all three points with some brilliant football.

On the other hand, Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest after Chris Wood's goal in the 84th minute cancelled out Bernardo Silva's opener in the first half.

Chelsea though succumbed to another defeat, this time at the hands of bottom-placed Southampton, who won 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Saints' captain James Ward-Prowse scored a stunning freekick right at the stroke of half-time to pile more misery and pressure on Graham Potter.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's Darwin Nunez and Gody Gakpo each found a net in the first half of the game to hand 10-player Newcastle a 2-0 defeat at St. James Park.
