Netherlands footballer Quincy Promes found guilty of stabbing cousin, receives 18-month jail sentence

Netherlands forward Quincy Promes has been found guilty of stabbing his cousin in the leg, resulting in an 18-month prison sentence. At the time of the incident, Promes was playing for Ajax, but he currently represents Spartak Moscow in Russia. With 50 international appearances for the Netherlands, Promes has scored seven goals for the national team.
