Europa League: Antony stars as Manchester United knock Barcelona out with 2-1 win

Antony came off the bench to help Manchester United enter the last-16 of the Europa League with an aggregate 4-3 win following Red Devils' scintillating 2-1 win against Barcelona at Old Trafford.

After their first leg ended in a 2-2 draw, Robert Lewandowski's 18th-minute penalty had again provided the visitors with an upper hand, the game, however, turned entirely around in the 2nd half after Antony was introduced in Wout Weghorst's place.

Erik Ten Hag's men first equalised through Fred's impressive 47th-minute goal, Antony took his team to the finish line with a stunning curler in the 72nd minute.

The Brazilian with his goal ended Bracelona's 18-match unbeaten streak, handing Xavi's men their first defeat since October.

Barcelona failed to make it to the last 16 of the European competition for the first time since 1998-99 season.
