Arsenal strengthen their top spot with a 5-point lead as the Gunners thrashed grappling Everton 4-0 at Emirates Stadium. 

Arsenal bolstered their lead on the top spot with 5 more points as the Gunners thrashed grappling Everton 4-0 at Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta's men struggled to break the deadlock until Bukayo Saka got the opener in the 40th minute. The hosts then capitalised on the lead as Gabriel Martinelli scored in the first-half stoppage time. The Brazilian again found the net in the 80th minute just before captain Martin Odegaard struck from close range in the 71st minute as Arsenal registered their 3rd successive win at the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Virgil Van Dijk and Mohd Salah with a goal each guided Liverpool to a 2-0 win over a tough-looking Wolverhampton Wanderers. The win helped the Reds make it to the 6th spot in the EPL table, 6 points away from the Top 4 of the premier League.
