Cristiano Ronaldo 'felt betrayed' by Manchester United, 'has no respect' for Erik Ten Hag

After days of speculation, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo finally broke his silence about his disagreements with his club, manchester United.

In a fiery interview with Piers Morgan, the Portuguese ace made some harsh claims about the Red Devils' coach Erik Ten Hag.

When asked if the Manchester United officials were trying to force him out of the club, the 37-year-old said, 'Yes, not only the coach but another 2-3 guys around the club. I felt betrayed.'

He further admitted that he felt that way in 2021 as well. In his scathing attack on the club's manager, Ronaldo admitted that he does not respect Erik Ten Hag because the coach doesn't respect him either.

Ronaldo has had a roller coaster of a season. He has been in and out of the Manchester United line-up. Last month he was banned from the squad for the Chelsea game after he refused to come on as a substitute in the Tottenham match, walking off through the tunnel even before the full-time whistle.

Ronaldo who returned to Old Trafford in August 2021 tried to leave the club in the summer, but couldn't find a suitor. CR7 also told Morgan in the interview that the club has not progressed since the departure of manager Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
