Manchester United vs Galatasaray

Manchester United's poor show in the Champions League continued as they let go of a 2 goal advantage and were held to a 3-3 draw by Galatasaray in Istanbul.

Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes struck a goal each to put United 2-0 ahead within 18 minutes.

Hakim Ziyech then brought Galatasaray back in the game as he pulled one back in the 29th minute. However, Scott McTominay once again restored the 2-goal advantage before Ziyech completed a brace to make it 3-2.

Kerem Akturkoglu then equalised with just 19 minutes left and the scoreline didn't change thereafter. United have won just one of their five games in the Champions League this season.

Arsenal vs Lens

In the other major game on Wednesday night, Arsenal ran riot and thumped Lens 6-0 to reach the last 16 in their first appearance in the competition for 7 years.

Kai Havertz opened the scoring in the 13th minute, which happened to be his first goal in the Champions League this season.

Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard all scored in the first half, before Jorginho added a late penalty.
