Young Tennis Talents Shine at Fenesta Open National Championship

New Delhi, Oct 7 (PTI) – The Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship saw the top young talents taking the courts, with standout performances in the Boys' U-14 Singles category.

Top seed Kaustubh Singh from Uttar Pradesh demonstrated his class as he swiftly defeated Hariharan Mahamuni with a decisive 9–2 scoreline. After dropping the first game, Kaustubh showcased his dominance by winning eight consecutive games, relying on his strong baseline control and sharp serves.

In another impressive display, fourth seed Taanish Nanda from Chandigarh showcased his superior skills by blanking Rishav Prasad 9–0. Taanish maintained flawless rhythm on his serve and broke his opponent at every opportunity, not allowing Rishav a single game.

Meanwhile, Monodip Dey, the sixth seed from West Bengal, also made a mark by securing a commanding 9–1 victory over Ansh Jalota. He consistently broke Ansh’s serve, conceding just one game in a show of dominance.
