While speaking to Jyotsna Mohan on Table Talk with Jo, the women who brought home India's first-ever Gold medal in Lawn Bowls, broke down as they spoke about the struggle and harassment they went through. Rupa Rani Tirkey while talking to the host revealed that the team was very depressed and that if they hadn't won the medal at the Commonwealth Games, it probably would have been curtains for their careers. Lovely further spoke about the misogyny that the four women had to face. India veteran Gautam Gambhir is the latest addition to the squad of India Maharajas. Former India opening batter confirmed his inclusion in India legend squad on Friday. 
Gambhir termed his return to the cricket field exciting and said that he is honoured to play with and against the former greats.

Before the start of the Legend League Cricket on 17th September, a special match will be played to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Indian Independence. In that special match, BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly will lead India Maharajas against Eoin Morgan's World Giants.

While Fabian Allen, Rovman Powell, Sikander Raza, and Dasun Shanaka have been signed up by the Dubai Capitals, England's Moeen Ali, Dawid Malan and Chris Woakes will play for the Sharjah Warriors.
