After almost all games saw interruptions due to showers, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka is not likely to be spared as well.

Dark clouds loom over the virtual semifinal as the winner will meet India in the ultimate showdown.

However, Accuweather has predicted thunderstorms in Colombo at around 4PM on Thursday.

It might not last for long and the forecast also looks good from 5 PM, with rain likely to stay away for a couple of hours.

Sadly, Colombo is expected to witness another spell of thunderstorm at 7 PM.

The MET department has not predicted rain from 8 to 10 PM but it might return at 11 PM.

Though we may get a result in a rain-curtailed game but in case of a washout, both teams will share a point each.

In that scenario both Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be locked at 3 points each but the Lankans will go through to the final on back of a better net run rate.
