Taylor, who is of Samoan descent, wrote in his new autobiography that cricket in New Zealand is a pretty white sport. He recalled that locker room banter sometimes was racist and hurtful but he was concerned that raising the issue might make the situation worse.

Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh recently made their India debut and there have been a lot of discussions that which one of these two young pacers would be a good choice for the Indian national side. Former India cricketer Aakash Copra has put his views saying that Arshdeep is a better option than Umran as the Punjab Kings bowler is more mature and experienced.

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly will return to the cricket field as captain once again to lead India Maharajas against World Giants in the first match of the Legends League Cricket on September 15.
In a statement, league commissioner Ravi Shastri said that this year's league is dedicated to India's 75th year of Independence celebration. 
The Ganguly-led side will feature some of India's legendary players such as Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, and Mohammed Kaif among others.
